A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLUMBING & HVAC INSTALL MANAGER

As our Plumbing & HVAC Install Manager, you manage all installations of plumbing, heating, and cooling systems for our valued customers, including the ordering of equipment. You handle issues as they arise, providing a same-day response to all customer concerns and reaching a mutually agreeable resolution quickly. The trust that you develop with our clients results in positive online reviews and keeps them coming back to us for all their plumbing & HVAC needs. Learning from any problems that arise, you work proactively to prevent them from happening again in the future.

As a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to jump in and help, you lead by example and inspire all installers to take pride in their work and continually improve. You provide them with guidance in handling difficult, complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints and disputes. Always approachable, you answer questions cheerfully and with the goal of helping everyone succeed. You cultivate an open, honest, team-oriented, and healthy work culture. Working closely with the install coordinator, you efficiently manage the install schedule. You also oversee all hiring and training for your department.

While you do spend a lot of time out in the field, you are also organized and keep on top of all your administrative duties. You file and monitor install warranty claims. With attention to detail, you review and approve completed invoices. You always represent our company in a professional manner, whether with clients, vendors, subcontractors, or team members. In order to identify ways to maximize efficiency and profitability, you report on performance metrics and use analytics to measure productivity and goal achievement. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PLUMBING & HVAC INSTALL MANAGER

  • Prior experience in plumbing, HVAC, or a comparable trade
  • Ability to plan large jobs and close sales
  • Computer and technology skills needed for scheduling, invoice creation, and communication with staff and customers

In this Plumbing & HVAC Installation Manager role, you take charge of overseeing and managing all plumbing and HVAC installations, including ordering equipment to ensure jobs go off without a hitch! Working closely with customers, you are sure to handle any issues that arise, including providing same-day responses to all customer concerns and work hard to reach a resolution.
